The inventor of the Steenbeek brace Michiel Stenbeek visited our Jessore workshop to evaluate our footbrace:

His verdict: " Exellent quality. The cost to produce would be the lowest in the world"

Ms Kate Lock visit clinics and run workshop

Ms Kate Lock, from Dorset in UK comes to Bangladesh to visit clinics and run workshop. Kate is an experienced hospital administrator with the NHS. During the visit she worked with the clinical
staff to introduce best practice in policy and day to day running of the clinics. We are all very happy Kate is returning in November.

February 2010 Training:

In February, we were very fortunate to have Denise Watson visit for a second time together with Jennifer McCahill.Both are UK based Physiotherapist. They were accompanied by Professor
Shofique Pirani and his wife Sally. Professor Shafique Pirani initiated the Uganda Club Foot project. He was the keynote Speaker at Bangladesh Orthopedic Society Conference(BOSCON).

Our visitor conducted two workshops on Ponseti Method in Jessore and Dhaka.

Good Bye 2009 Welcome 2010

2009,

A great year for the project: Only in four months-

• More than 100 children under treatment, of which 50+ already with straight legs using braces,
• Six Ponseti Clinic in Five district established,
• More than 100 Orthopedic Surgeons trained and motivated to use Ponseti Management of Club-Foot.

2010,
